I met a boy over myspace. We have mutual friends in person, so I'm not afraid that he's a phsyco or anything. He doesnt go on his Myspace very often, but we exchanged phone number and we text all the time! I have tried to call him twice, but he dismissed the calls b/c he is so shy! He is adorable. We keep talking about finally meeting eachother this Friday, but we dont have any idea on what to do. Any suggestion? We don't want to spend money. It's going to be some time in the afternoon. I don't want it to seem like a date, but i want to be able to talk to him a lot b/c he is so shy.
Please help
I like a boy, but I have no idea where our first time to hang should be!?
OKAY...how old are you and how old is he? you may want your first encounter to be with friends because you don't know what the person is capable of doing. Meet in a place where there is a lot of people.

Go to the park, or to the mall

take him to a movie, no talking involved but you get to spend time with him. a good talkative date would be to the zoo

You can always go for a walk in the park and take a picnic for lunch.. Then you guys can talk and get to know each other!

a public place...mall, walk around somewhere, get a cheap cup of coffee, you want a comfortable setting with other people with a good opportunity to talk.

it does not cost much to go out for pizza
why not do that %26amp; get some of your friends
to join in
good luck

my suggestion is not to even meet him. its not safe to meet people online, especially not alone. its not even safe with friends because you cant always make the best decision for your safety. honestly, dont meet him...

dont want to spend any money huh? that makes it difficult. is there like a park or something near where you live so you can meet him there?

well then hangout around your town or at one of your houses...his house would be better cause he will be more comfortable so he'll probably talk more.

A walk through the park or through town is nice.

Do something that doesn't require a conversation: i.e. don't just go eat or hang out at a house. Instead maybe go bowling, go carts, miniature golf, watching movie, etc.
Meeting up with people through myspace can be awkward, but I've done it before and it isn't too bad.

meet at a bowling alley, or a place like dave %26amp; busters. bd

Honey, pick an open place with a lot of people. Like the mall or a restaurant, for example. That way, if he doesn't turn out to be the person you thought he would be, there will be plenty of people around. Also, use your good judgment, and don't believe everything he says. Remember, people can always act differently in texts or on the Internet than they do in real life. But most of all, have fun!!
Love and Kisses,

what is he interested in? surely you will find something to do. my friends and i have a good time at my house watching movies and drinking kool-aid. it doesnt have to be complicated. try hanging out at the park or at a mall. the Orange County Fair is going on, if you live in the area. You only pay minimal amounts for tickets. You could go ice skating...of course that costs money.... Go to the beach! Have a bonfire! You only have to pay for food and parking (unless you dont drive there.) have other people there, too, so it doesnt feel like a date. i have learned from experience that some guys are bad at one-on0one encounters. Good luck getting him to talk! =]

go somewhere relaxed, like to go get ice cream and then walk around a little bit. you could really get to know each other that way and there isn't any awkwardness cause your just walking around, unlike a movie where your pressured to kiss him. =]
and also there are people all around if he turns out to be a little bit different than he said he was.
if you live near a coast you could go to the beach and just talk.

Well I remember reading these in a magazine a long time ago.
The Park - Great place to get outside and have fun, can hold hands, and you can talk and walk.
A Concert - Fun, creative, and a good way to get to know each other.
A Restaurant - Traditional, can talk, and romantic.
Basketball or Football Game - Outgoing, exciting, and lots of chances to bond.
Movies - Better for shy guys, don't talk as much, but you can talk about the movie when it's over! Good for bonding.
Hope these help you. :]
