How would you take this?

I met this girl last sunday for drinks, we got along great. good communication, laughter, ect.. She called me the next day, text me called me everyday, wrote back to me on myspace, ect... She calls me "sweetheart, baby", whatever you name it. Now, she hasn't called me in two or three day's. She finally text's me sunday morning, saying" sorry I have not called you, I have strep throat and I'm sick". I'm thinking to myself, as much as this women calls me and text's me, why she couldn't atleast text me on my cell, to say she was not feeling good. Is this women playing mind games or what??

How would you take this?

She could definitely be a "player" and maybe she truly had step, felt horribly physically speaking, so that the very last thing on her mind would be texting you or anyone else.

If you like her, and you want to see her again do that. No one says this is the love of your life, or the end all be all. It is important to get to know her. Her character will reveal itself over time. As the saying goes..."nothing ventured, nothing gained." Just take your time and develop a friendship with her...but go into it thinking the best of her.

Oh for goodness sake. Can't someone be sick without having to check in on you? I had strep once and it totally floored me. Two or three days is not a long time. Did you call her to see what was up or were you just sitting around waiting for her to reach out to you? She isn't your girlfriend, she is someone you had a date with last week. Give her a little chance here or let her go clean if you are going to stress over things like this so soon.

Texting and myspace tells me that you are both extremely immature. DUH! It is all overkill and I see no future here, pal. Try to act more mature with relationships and you will find that you will attract a more functional relationship.

You sound very insecure. Have you ever had Strep? I have and I didn't feel like talking to anyone or doing anything but sleep. You feel like hammered crap. Stop looking for the bad and enjoy the good. Why didn't you call her? It might have been nice for her to have known that you missed her and see if you could do anything to help her. How is she supposed to know that you even care?
