Don't worry! You're missing nothing. Myspace is nothing. It's jsut a place to write your personal information, and stuff about your life that nobody will probably read. Texting (like on a phone) is something I never do. I don't think I've ever sent a message. I tried to once. It took me about 5 minutes to write a snetence, then I accidentally deleted it instead of sending it. If you think all the 'young people' love this stuff, let me tell you... I'm 21! AND in college! At a tech school! Studying computers and technology! If there's anybody who would use this stuff, it's us.

If you want to message people, I suggest getting AIM. That has changed my life! It's like an impersonal phone call, and you can exchange files over it too. It's fast, useful, and has a very large network of people.

I won't go near myspace. I think all the teeny boppers are there. I also have JUST a cellphone. And that is so that the kid's school or camp can get in touch with me for any emergencies.

No, I don't have a "my space" account. Nor do I care to. It's mainly for kids/young adults.

As far as text messages, you're not the only one who doesn't know how to create them. My mom has never gotten the hang of them...but then again, she is 67yrs old...not saying she couldn't learn...she's fairly savvy about technical stuff actually. She was a pioneer in desktop publishing and actually runs the website for the local newspaper in her hometown.
