Me and this guy have been talking talking for a little over a year but I have known him forever. how

he doesnt like to talk on the phone. after katrina we were in different states so we talked on aim, through emails, myspace and text. A couple of weeks ago I finally ask him why we dont talk on the phone and his reply (via text) is that he doesnt like to talk on the phone because its weird for him when i dont reply to him he sends me another text saying that, and I quote.."If you want you can call me tomorrow". Now, were back in the same city and we are supposed to be going to the movies tomorrow with some friends...this is the first time I'm going to be seeing him in over two years... he tells me tonight that he doesnt know if he can go because he mom left town yesterday. The movies has been planned for three weeks I talked to him yesterday about it and there was no mention of him possibly not being able to come. Does any have any idea of what the hell is going on with this guy?

I'm sorry, but it sounds to me like he is not ready or willing for it to become reality. He's enjoyed the fantasy, and wants to keep it that way. If I were you, I'd write him off. I've had to do that myself, I'm afraid. Yeah, it sucks, and part of you doesn't want to throw away all the energy you've already put into this "relationship", however, if you don't, you'll just be throwing away more of your precious time and energy on something that will likely never come true.

the guy is getting cold with the relationship....maybe he have somebody..did you check his cellphone...or anything...cause based on what you are saying he is getting cold with the relationship...do something fast...like talking to him..cause if you dont do something the relationship will die sooner or later....

Move on girl....if he is not treating you now as you like to be treated chances are that he is not going to change...people very rarely do.

Move on to someone who treats you the way you like to be treated, don't waste you time on someone who likes you around but doesn't know what to do with you.

I think his flaky, and his got issues. His probably just not ready to be in a relationship, and he either does not want to admit it, or he does know how to tell you. If his really interested in you, he should be excited to see you, because finally he would be able to spend some time with you, one would think. Now, since his acting strange, it's a red flag. You can either just ignore it and let it go, or just deal with it and ask him what's going on???

hmm...either he is afraid of seeing you and playing shy-guy. maybe he's gained 80 pounds. but there is the strong possibility of another lady in the picture. after all this time and he's not excited to see you? try another date with just the two of you - a public date of course to make sure he's not trying to hide. but tell him, 'hey babe, i need some physical contact with this relationship...it's important to me for us to keep it strong...' if he says no, then keep it rollin sista!
